We were honored to be interviewed by ICHI COMMONS Inc., a company actively engaged in “building infrastructure to solve social issues.” In the interview, our NPO, Seibo Japan, shared our initiatives related to the SDGs through a video presentation.
The video highlights our activities contributing to the SDGs’ envisioned future world, including our collaboration with businesses and educational institutions on social business projects emphasizing educational value.

Currently, we are grateful for the support of many companies, such as those endorsing our school meal support program or using fair trade coffee. Notably, we collaborate with Ataka Trading Company, which provides us with green coffee beans sourced from Malawi. You can learn more about this partnership here.
We also work with educational institutions to promote learning about international issues and support strategies through Malawi. These initiatives include understanding related products and their distribution processes, conducting joint fundraising, and increasing collaborative activities. You can view the schools we currently work with here.
Through these efforts, the school meal support movement that began in Malawi is spreading across multiple generations. By creating points of engagement for businesses and diverse generations, NPOs can foster opportunities for co-creation, innovation, future talent development, and corporate branding. To illustrate this, we delivered a lecture at Tomowel Collaborative Printing Co., Ltd., where we explored these themes further.
Details of the lecture are available here.
We aim to continue fostering opportunities for co-creation, inspiring Japan to engage with the global community and take meaningful action.
