Seibo served as a lecturer at the Global Leadership Seminar held as part of the Miyazaki International University and Miyazaki Gakuin Junior College’s Regional Collaboration Center project in March 2024. Following the seminar, there was significant feedback from participating high school students, particularly from Miyazaki Nishi High School, who proposed specific activities.
As a result, Seibo partnered with local businesses in Miyazaki City to sell cookies made from Malawi coffee, tea, and Malawi Earl Grey, donating the proceeds to charity. This initiative has influenced students from Miyazaki International University and other high schools, inspiring them to start activities with an international perspective through Malawi.

This initiative has also influenced students from Miyazaki International University and other high schools. Currently, many high school and university students in Miyazaki Prefecture are adopting an international perspective through Malawi and starting their own activities.
One such initiative is called BOBOTEA, where Miyazaki International University students lead and collaborate with local high school students. Together, they engage in activities addressing international issues through research, marketing, actual sales, reporting to people in Malawi, and introducing their activities to other students and the local community, resulting in sustainable and highly public-minded actions.

These efforts have fostered connections among Miyazaki’s local residents, businesses, universities, high school students, and African children and students, creating a unique international support initiative. Seibo actively supports these student initiatives, fostering connections between Malawian and Japanese students and education.
