The students of Zushi Kaiko Junior and Senior High School conducted support for Malawi through the sale of drip packs.
The students of Zushi Kaiko Junior and Senior High School have shown interests in various international issues, including fair trade. This time, they learned about Malawi, its industry, and the coffee production through our lessons, and they kindly agreed to sell the products.
Although the class was only 50 minutes long, we made sure that even those who were learning about Malawi for the first time could understand the situation. We provided images and videos to help them visualize and comprehend the local challenges and the benefits of supporting school meals.
We hope that this kind of learning will further cultivate the students’ interest in fair trade, poverty issues, and other educational values by connecting the meaning behind the actual sales and their educational significance.
