On August 10, 2024, the “1st Wellness Life Summit” was held in Shinjuku Ward.
The summit aimed to raise awareness of environmental issues and wellness, serving as a “place for learning, practice, and exchange to create a better future,” and providing the first step toward new challenges.
The event was hosted by TEAM PTRD JAPAN® and co-sponsored by Green Sophia of Sophia University. With the cooperation of 33 companies and organizations, the event attracted 61 participants, including students from 12 schools such as Seijo University and Waseda University, as well as general attendees, making it a major event.
You can view the event details and the implementation report here.
The event featured a range of activities centered around wellness, including a litter-picking activity, a lunch meeting, and a broader meeting. During the meeting, Miki Yamada, a former Vice Minister of the Environment and a member of the House of Representatives, took the stage, and attendees had the opportunity to hear from prominent figures leading Japan’s wellness movement.
Additionally, there were cross-talks and introductions of activities and businesses by three ethical consumption and wellness-related presenters, including NPO Seibo Japan.
Seibo Japan was pleased to offer Malawian coffee at the event, showcasing our concept of ethical consumption. We were grateful for the opportunity to introduce products that connect well-being to enriching everyday life and changing the future of children in distant Africa through specialty coffee.
We appreciate your continued support.
