Sustainability Exhibition in Seikei University
Date:2024.06.29

On June 23, 2024, the non-profit organization Seibo collaborated with volunteer students from Hosei University High School International to participate in the booth exhibition at the “Fair Trade Musashino” Musashino City Gender Equality Forum 2024, which featured a film screening and talk event titled “Challenges of Girls and Children’s Rights Seen through the Film ‘Valentine Ikki’.”

The event focused on fair trade and sustainability, providing a platform for film screenings and communication among exhibitors and attendees.

This marked the first involvement of students from Hosei University High School International in Seibo’s activities. It served as their initial step towards launching their own coffee brand and advancing their initiatives.

Seibo’s Warm Hearts Coffee Club emphasizes transparency in distribution channels with Ataka Tsusho, reinvestment in the origin country, and contributing to future sustainability through meal support in the production area.

Additionally, Seibo’s fair trade concept involves accurate transactions through trading companies, supplying healthy markets, and linking profits to local charity for reinvestment in the community through a sustainable supply chain. Going forward, they aim to expand this unique concept focused on Malawi as part of their organizational mission.
