The Show Must Go On!

The “Story of a Tiger” event held on 5th of December at Theatre X was subject to a last-minute change due to the actor being unable to arrive in Japan on time.
As a result the fee was waived and those present were treated to a video performance of a scene from “Story of a Tiger” performed first by Malawian actor Mbene Mwanbene and following that the very same scene enacted by Dario Fo.

Following the original schedule a panel discussion including Declan Somers of Seibo Japan, renowned African correspondent Iwasaki Yuichi and experienced JICA Volunteer Izumisawa Hiroshi took to the stage to field questions which lasted for 90 mins.
Our sincere thanks to those who turned up despite the last minute hiccup and special thanks to Malawian-student/Japanese resident Isaac Chilima for joining the panel to take questions from a Malawian perspective.
