On May 29, 2024, I had the opportunity to give a lecture in the “Special Lectures on International Communications” course at Seikei University.
During the lecture, I discussed how companies and NGOs can create socially valuable products by appropriately sharing missions and connecting within the communication of the supply chain.
I also engaged in discussions about the challenges facing Japanese NGOs, responding to questions from the students. Additionally, I addressed the differences between overseas charity organizations and Japanese NGOs involved in overseas support activities, highlighting the impact and influence of such organizations compared to government agencies like JICA.
In addition to these topics, I introduced cultural aspects of Malawi, conducted a workshop on casual greetings, and discussed ways for students to get involved in activities related to international aid.
Opportunities like these to consider international support from Japan in an academic setting are incredibly important for organizations. Thank you for providing such a valuable opportunity!
