The Seisen All-Girls High School in Nagano held a Malawi Coffee event from the 9th to 11th of July. As part of the events a live broadcast was screened in the school allowing the Staff & Students to ask their Malawi & coffee-related questions to an Instructor at the IT school on the Beehive Centre for Social Enterprise in Malawi.
The students were also able to learn and discuss about other issues in Malawi relating to Education & Politics and used their knowledge to encourage sales of Malawian Coffee at the ‘Gakuensai’ event. The ability to not only discover and learn but to also interact with people from Malawi during the event made a lasting impression on all involved. Finally, as a result of the school’s efforts Seibo received a donation the equivalent of 8,500 vital school meals in Malawi for which we are grateful. We thank everyone involved for coming together to create life-changing change. From the children of Malawi we send thanks!
