Meisei High School with Malawian Tea on Keyaki Street
Date:2025.03.21

On March 20, 2025, Meisei Gakuen High School sold Malawian tea to support school meals. Students from Koka Gakuen High School also collaborated, fostering a venue for many students to interact. This was our second time showcasing only tea, with Earl Grey and straight (Darjeeling) tea selling particularly well, leaving a lasting impression on many who enjoyed them!

Malawian tea has a history dating back to 1929 and has become a traditional industry. Its importation into Japan is increasing, and alongside coffee, we hope to expand meal support through tea handling. We would like to increase activities in the future.

To Meisei High School, everyone involved, thank you so much! And to the organizers of the Keyaki Festival, thank you for allowing us to call for support for Malawi locally in Fuchu. Please continue to support us!
