On October 31, 2024, Seibo had the opportunity to give a lecture at Doshisha International High School in Kyoto, discussing international aid, career opportunities in NGOs, and the potential for collaborative projects with NGOs that students can engage in. This was the first time Seibo thoroughly presented the background of its school meal support program in Malawi and the details of its support activities in Japan.
Many students showed interest in the operations of nonprofit organizations, such as NGOs and general incorporated associations, and some students even asked individual questions about starting their own ventures.
Seibo, as an NPO, leverages connections with multiple supporting companies and international networks to carry out global aid activities. This example of a global social business likely offered a fresh perspective for the students. Following the lecture, a workshop was conducted, and concrete activity proposals were provided, paving the way for future collaboration. We look forward to continuing our work together. Thank you for your support.
