On March 10, 2025, we held a seminar and workshop lasting approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes at St. Dominic Academy in Setagaya Ward. During this event, we conducted a workshop focused on the concept of abundance, connecting it to the strengths of Malawi and what Japan can do, with the aim of facilitating mutual learning. Each group was tasked with developing projects that contribute to school meal support in Malawi.

On the day of the event, two staff members from Seibo and one high school student participated, presenting on past activities. This allowed us to build on the experiences of students close in age. St. Dominic Academy invites us twice a year to conduct seminars and workshops that lead to practical actions.

Moving forward, we hope to explore ways to collaborate as partners in building a future, not only focusing on Malawi’s status as one of Africa’s poorer countries but also embracing its unique strengths that Japan lacks.
