On March 11, 2025, I visited a comprehensive inquiry class at Salesian Academy. I had the opportunity to speak alongside alumni who are currently volunteering with Seibo, as well as individuals who graduated from the same Salesian network of schools, who have gone through Seibo’s online internship and are now staff members. This experience allowed us to feel the connections formed through our activities.

At Seibo, many students who participated in the online social business course hosted by Seibo since high school continue to deepen their involvement in college. We feel a significant role as an organization in nurturing the next generation and shaping the future of Malawi while contributing to the future of Japan.

The theme for this comprehensive inquiry was international support and vocation, encouraging students to reflect on their given missions and explore their ways of living. Over the past three years, Seibo has deepened this theme in collaboration with Salesian Academy. During the class, all first-year students attended, and we were able to discuss the significance and challenges of working as an international NGO through various questions.

We hope to continue this meaningful inquiry in the future!
