Kanyerere Primary School is located approximately 37 kms from Mzimba town between St. Paul’s & Chabele Primary. In anticipation of school feeding the school erected a kitchen shelter and a storage room.
The location can be difficult to gain access to during the rainy season. In response Seibo will provide deliveries of 3 months or more depending on the weather.

14th February 2017: By the time of our visit in February school enrollment had risen to over 390 students. The Seibo team in Malawi commended the school for their management of the “phala” food stocks. The Head Teacher, Mr. Longwe, admitted that the new government directive to provide school meals before lessons was challenging. On the plus side it instilled punctuality in the learners but some of the volunteers have to sleep overnight in the school to ensure the meal is ready on time for the students.
