On Sunday, February 4th, at Hokkai Gakuen in Sapporo, Hokkaido, we had the opportunity to provide coffee at “JALT Hokkaido”.

JALT stands for “NPO The Japan Association for Language Teaching”, where teachers of English from across the country gather regardless of nationality.

Our company, Seibo, has been involved in this event nationwide and is creating opportunities to expand the circle of meal support through Malawi coffee.

Despite the snow piled up to our hips on the day, nearly 100 people, including JALT members, publishers, and participants, gathered in a friendly and unique JALT-like welcoming atmosphere to begin the event.

Many people enjoyed Malawi coffee, and among those who liked the taste, some even purchased 100g bags or drip-style coffee. The feedback on the taste from everyone was positive, noting that it had a rich flavor without being too overwhelming and was easy to drink. Some mentioned they drank a few cups and others bought drip coffee for “tomorrow morning”.
