On the 30th October Team Seibo in conjunction with the INJ will host a Halloween Charity Concert to raise funds for school feeding in Malawi.
Halloween has become an extremely popular event in recent years in Japan.
The event aims to explore the lesser known side of Halloween- its Celtic origins, the kids games but also the life-giving and charitable side of the event which has emerged in recent years.
Part 1: 5pm- 7pm- SAMHAIN
Participants will be given a fun and spooky presentation on the Celtic origins of Halloween, in English and Japanese, and will be treated to a special “once-off” Celtic Choral Performance.
Part 2: 7pm- 9:30 pm- HALLOWEEN
Live Music – with both Traditional and Contemporary Irish Musicians.
A Charity Raffle will be held on the day with prizes including bottles of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Entrance on the day will be free with participants encouraged to donate at the door on the day.
Prizes for Best/ Most Original Costume
Fee of 2,000 yen includes donation to Seibo, 1 x drink coupon and a complimentary bottle of Guinness Extra Stout.
