Girl Power!
Seibo Director Sawako Nevin & Malawian hip-hop artist Tay Grin just this June 2016 launched a new girls empowerment campaign song- Reach Out 4 Your Dreams!

The campaign supports keeping girls in education and supports the UN Women’s He-For-She Campaign which calls upon men and boys to stand up against persisting inequalities faced by girls and women globally.

This follows the success of Sawako’s previous collaboration with Malawian music legend Lucius Banda with the song Msungwana Shaina-also encouraging girls to remain in school and to shine!

Speaking in the Malawian national media Sawako is quoted as saying, “Malawian girls are facing a number of challenges to continue their education. In 2012/3, only 47% of girls finished primary school.”
It is hoped more and more girls and their parents will be encouraged by Sawako’s efforts. Seibo are delighted to work with a true friend of Malawi- thank you!
