On October 11, 2024, an introduction to the “Theme Lab” activities was conducted with Dalton Tokyo Academy.

Dalton Tokyo Academy implements learning aligned with the “Dalton Plan,” focusing on the following elements:

・”Houses”: Inter-grade communities fostering social skills
・”Assignments”: Compass for autonomous and planned learning
・”Laboratories”: Small institutes expanding and deepening learning

Within these small institutes, we conducted a class feeling the atmosphere of the House. We discussed how to increase involvement in activities related to seibo, how Malawi coffee can be marketed, and showed interest in operating NPOs. Moving forward, we will consider together how we can expand our activities domestically. By doing so, I hope it can serve as an opportunity for students to think about their future work methods and approaches using us as a case study!
