Over the last days we have been receiving distressing reports of lives lost, missing people, destroyed communities, roads & bridges destroyed. Since Cyclone Freddy landed in Malawi, the death toll is over 200 and rising. We haven’t yet been able to communicate with many of the rural areas we operate school feeding as access & communication is currently impossible. Though the cyclone is weakening, threats of landslides and further flooding caused by high winds still exists. Seibo Japan would like to ask your help to make a donation to assist our team in Malawi to provide food for children in need. We hope to provide details in the coming days but for now can only share images that we have received.
If you can make a DONATION, please do so HERE. A little can mean a lot at a time like this.
These pictures highlight the efforts of Team Seibo as well as the staff at the Mother Teresa Catholic Nursery, staff & teachers at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Insitute & Beehive Construction and the many more who each day meet at 8am to coordinate a response to this tragedy. Once more, we appeal to anyone who can help, even a little to please do so HERE.
